MEXICO CITY, April 3 (Reuters) – Mexico sold 110.5 billion Mexican pesos ($ 8.98 billion) in an extraordinary auction of 1-year and 6-month T-bills, or Cetes, to help mop up liquidity in the money market, the central bank said on Wednesday.
The central bank sold 70 billion pesos in the 364-day bills at a weighted average yield of 4.14 percent, and 40.5 billion pesos in 182-day bills at a yield of 4.06 percent.
