WASHINGTON |
WASHINGTON (Reuters) – An Associated Press spokesman told Reuters on Tuesday that an AP Twitter message reporting two explosions in the White House was “bogus.”
AP spokesman Paul Colford did not immediately provide more details. White House spokesman Jay Carney told reporters soon after the bogus tweet that President Barack Obama was fine.
Reuters witnesses at the White House said they did not observe any signs of an explosion.
